Flexible Opportunities: Hybrid - (Flexible Work Hours - 37h week)
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 & Friday 08:00 to 13:00

Introduction:

Matchtech has teamed up with a leader in aerospace, defence, and security to find a Safety & Reliability Engineer who is ready to take the lead in critical projects.

You'll work with design teams to shape strategy, drive decisions, and deliver safety and reliability analyses like FMEA, FTA, FHA, across the full development cycle.

What will I be doing?

To thrive in this role, you'll be a:

  • Master of Data: Analyze data to ensure our landing gear systems are safe and reliable.
  • Reliability Champion: Be the go-to expert in product reliability, maintaining performance and safety standards.
  • Data Detective: Collect and analyze real-world performance data to inform the team.
  • Collaborative Innovator: Work with Systems Architects to develop Safety Management Plans.
  • Problem Solver: Investigate faults and root causes to improve safety and reliability.

What do I need to succeed?

To be successful in this role, you'll be:

  • Engineering Expert: Degree-qualified or experienced in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
  • Certification Savvy: Familiar with airworthiness requirements and certification processes.
  • Systems Specialist: Knowledge of systems engineering, ARP4754, ARP4761.
  • Technical Communicator: Skilled in managing requirements and technical reports, ideally with DOORS.
