Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking Safety Engineers to support safe development and integration of future combat air capabilities. You will work with systems, software and platform teams to ensure safety is integrated throughout the lifecycle, delivering certifiable, operationally effective systems.

This role offers an opportunity to influence combat air capability through development, integration and optimisation of advanced sensing architectures across the full engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defence or highly regulated industries is desirable.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and certification processes.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

We are seeking Safety Engineers to support the safe development and integration of future combat air capabilities for the next generation of combat aircraft.

You will work closely with systems, software and platform engineering teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated throughout the engineering lifecycle, supporting the delivery of safe, certifiable and operationally effective systems.

  • Support safety assessment activities.
  • Develop safety artefacts and engineering evidence.
  • Participate in hazard identification activities.
  • Support safety case development.

Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related STEM discipline.
  • Applications are also welcomed from individuals with significant demonstrable experience who don’t hold formal qualifications.
