Summary

Minimum Requirements

  • Good academic background with at least 5 GCSEs 9-4 (A-C) including Maths and English
  • On track to or have obtained a Level 3 qualification such as A-levels or an advanced apprenticeship
  • Must be 18 years or over by September 2025
  • Not enrolled in another funded apprenticeship or similar program at start
  • Qualifications must be unrelated in subject and content to the apprenticeship
  • Right to work in the UK, UK residence for at least 5 years, and ability to achieve SC security clearance

Main Responsibilities

Support the development of safety cases, including safety assessment, document preparation, and providing advice. Gain experience in safety assessment related to radiological safety, chemical safety, nuclear safety, and more, through training and practical application.

Participate in tailored induction and ongoing personal development, supported by an apprentice advisor. Engage in assessments and secure necessary security and medical clearances to commence in September 2025.
