A prominent healthcare trust in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse in Gynaecology to provide leadership on safety and quality. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to governance, and support clinical staff. Candidates should possess a nursing degree and strong expertise in Gynaecology. This part-time role offers a competitive salary between £47,810 and £54,710 per year, along with various staff benefits.
Senior Registered Nurse – Safety & Quality, Gynaecology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Rosie Hospital).
You will provide expert leadership on safety and quality, supporting safe, evidence-based practice across the Gynaecology service and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary teams. You will contribute to the patient safety and governance agenda, including rapid case reviews for sub-specialties, provide specialist advice, teaching and support to staff, and share good practice relating to Datix incidents and audits. You will maintain clinical credibility and visibility as part of the Gynaecology leadership team. This is a Monday to Friday role, 30 hours per week.
As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will work with the Matron for Fertility & Gynaecology Services, the Lead Midwife for Safety & Quality and the wider Gynaecology Leadership team to deliver the corporate agenda for Clinical Governance within the service via the Trust Clinical Risk Management Strategy.
