Overview

I am currently seeking a Permanent Safety Advisor to work with a UK Contractor on a Civils project in Birmingham.

The role would include but not be limited to the below

• Promote H&S culture throughout the business
• Ensuring H&S Policies and Processes are updated where required
• Provide H&S advice and guidance to Site Teams
• Ensure all plant and equipment used is compliant with H&S regulations
• Complete detailed site safety audits and action recommendations
• Ensure Method statements and Risk Assessments are issued (where required)
• Assist with Pre-qualification questionnaires
• Attend site walks at tender stage (where required)

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Experience as a Safety Advisor, SHE, HSE, HSEQ or similar
• CSCS, NEBOSH, IOSH
• Previous experience working within Civils, Groundworks, Water Pumps, Water
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of health, safety and risk management, and of all current health and safety legislation.
