What is the job?

Reporting to the Bar Manager as Bar Supervisor you will lead our team in the charming, refurbished old Bank Building turned cozy café bar and 6 Bank Building apartments. Make the most of the building's historic beauty to give guests a special time, blending the old look with today's comfort. Your role is key in making sure everyone enjoys the unique blend of the past and present, creating a memorable experience for all.

About The Role

Your day to day

• Lead during service as the Bar Supervisor
• Ensure smooth operations in the absence of the Bar Manager
• Train and guide colleagues to meet our standards
• Understand and meet targets and objectives
• Greet customers and address their needs
• Ensure compliance with food and drink standards
• Have thorough knowledge of our offerings
• Maintain equipment and facilities
• Manage stock and order supplies
• Contribute to menu ideas and promotions
• Prioritize sustainability and efficiency
• Uphold health and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and report issues promptly
• Opening and closing of café bar
• When required, help out in Bank building apartments operations

Desired Criteria

• Experience within the hospitality industry as a supervisor

Required Criteria

• Experience within a Food and Beverage role
• Proven experience of supervising and directing others, while demonstrating a hands-on approach
• Good communication and organisational skills
