Job summary

Worcestershire Cricket Foundation seeks a proactive Safeguarding & Workforce Manager to lead safeguarding and workforce strategies across the county. You will support recruitment, development and retention of volunteers, building strong relationships with clubs, schools and partners.

The role drives safeguarding excellence, inclusion and safe environments for all ages, with a focus on policy implementation and training across Worcestershire and Dudley.

Qualifications

• Professional safeguarding experience and knowledge of current frameworks.
• Ability to lead safeguarding and EDI strategy across organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership building.

Responsibilities

• Lead on safeguarding and EDI strategies and policy reviews across the county.
• Support clubs and organisations with compliance, training and safer recruitment.
• Monitor and report on safeguarding and workforce programmes to leadership.
• Develop workforce networks and coordinate volunteer development initiatives.
• Deliver training, enable ECB Safe Hands delivery, and oversee risk assessments.
