Oldham College is searching for a Safeguarding and Well-being Education Officer to enhance student welfare and promote a safe learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for students' safeguarding, advising on welfare resources, and collaborating with external agencies. This role offers competitive salary and benefits in a supportive educational establishment.
Salary £31,920 to £34,040 per annum plus excellent benefits
We are seeking a highly motivated education practitioner to join our Safeguarding & Well-being team. The team is responsible for ensuring effective safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students. Our purpose is to create an environment where students feel safe and can achieve their full potential.
This is a very important role. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead emphasizes that at Oldham College, we believe all students deserve a rewarding educational experience that creates opportunities and leads to an exciting future. We are passionate about ensuring each student feels safe to achieve their full potential. We are expanding our team of safeguarding and welfare officers to promote safeguarding, prevent issues, and support emotional and mental wellbeing in a trauma-informed way.
