Job summary

Minehead Middle School, part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, is seeking a proactive Student Welfare Officer. You will safeguard, support and promote the welfare, personal development and wellbeing of all students, working with families, staff and external agencies to identify needs early.

The role forms part of the inclusion team and aims to remove barriers to learning, improve attendance and support emotional, social and academic progress in a warm, supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and welfare work with children.
• Ability to work with families, staff and external agencies.
• Commitment to inclusive schooling and safeguarding policies.
