Job description

Outside IR35 | Perm Longstanding Management | Offshore Holiday Destination | Stable Service

If you’re an experienced children’s social worker looking for the chance to relocate to a picturesque holiday destination Offshore, look no further.

Leaders in care are working with a highly regarded local authority based in the Channel Islands, to offer a very high pay rate of £46.50 per hour for an experienced practitioner to join the safeguarding team.

Benefits include a great rate of 46.50/h, the role is also outside IR35, meaning an increase on your takehome pay compared to the mainland. You can also expect a manageable caseload, as cases are split evenly across the service to ensure your workload remains manageable and you can enjoy all the island has to offer.

The job offers flexibility in contract lengths and a mix of remote and in-office work, helping you maintain a healthy worklife balance. The existing management team is supportive and experienced, and you'll have weekly check-ins with your dedicated consultant (that's me!) for added support from day 1.

This is a great chance to work at highly rated council in a stable team, who will provide you with regular supervision training as and when needed, to ensure your personal development, along with that of the service. There are immediate starts available. However this council will wait up to 4 weeks for the right person.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
