Job description

Are you passionate about student welfare and safeguarding? Sandwell Community School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Safeguarding and Pastoral Leader to lead on all aspects of safeguarding policy and practice, student wellbeing, and attendance.

As the Lead Designated Safeguarding Person, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our inclusive ethos, supporting staff CPD, and ensuring our students thrive both personally and academically. This is a senior leadership opportunity with direct responsibility for safeguarding staff, attendance, and behaviour strategy across the school.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Hours: 37hrs per week, 52 weeks per year

Grade: Grade H, SCP 38-43 - £47,754 - £52,805 p.a.
