Job description

Safeguarding | Longstanding Management | Travel Paid | Stable 6-month contract with option of extension

Leaders in Care are currently working with a stable authority in the Channel Islands offering a fantastic rate of £46.50 P/H outside IR35. They are seeking experienced agency safeguarding workers to join their safeguarding teams and support children & families in the area.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and protective factors.
  2. Ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable children in line with statutory guidelines.
  3. Developing and implementing child protection plans.
  4. Working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals such as police, education, and healthcare providers.
  5. Attending case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings when necessary.
  6. Maintaining accurate, timely case records.
  7. Ensuring interventions are child-focused and evidence-based.
  8. Responding promptly to safeguarding concerns and making informed decisions to support positive outcomes for children and their families.

Please note that for this role, you will need to pay for your accommodation during the contract, but the authority will arrange and cover the costs for flights at the beginning and end of your contract.
