Job summary

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Nurse/Professional to join the Safeguarding Team, with enthusiasm for safeguarding in line with the Think Family approach and experience with adults and children.

The role will be based across two sites, divide time between South Warwickshire and George Eliot Hospital, provide expert safeguarding advice, training and supervision to health staff, and contribute to trusted multi‑agency safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience of safeguarding adults and children.
• In-depth knowledge of Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert safeguarding advice, support and supervision to health staff.
• Deliver safeguarding training and promote Think Family approach.
• Work across two sites and coordinate with multi-agency partners.
