Job summary

Tapestry Learning Partnership is seeking a compassionate and proactive Child Protection Officer to join the safeguarding team. Initially based at City of Derby Academy, you will strengthen safeguarding practice, systems and compliance, collaborating with school leaders to embed consistent, high-quality safeguarding across the Trust.

You will work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead to identify concerns, manage complex cases, liaise with families and external agencies, and ensure accurate

Qualifications

• Compassionate and proactive Child Protection Officer
• Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Ability to manage sensitive and complex safeguarding situations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the safeguarding team and contribute to policy and practice
• Identify, assess and respond to safeguarding and welfare concerns
• Manage and support complex and sensitive safeguarding cases
