Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council seeks an experienced leader to manage the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB). You will lead multi-agency partnerships across local government, health, police and the voluntary sector, driving improvement, learning and accountability while supporting the Independent Chair.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the SAB work programme.
• Support the Independent Chair with safeguarding advice to senior partners.
• Coordinate multi-agency audits, performance reporting and QA activity.
• Oversee SARs and ensure learning leads to improvement.
• Build cross-agency partnerships and manage the Board budget.
• Ensure lived experience informs safeguarding priorities.
