Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a Specialist Practitioner for the Safeguarding Adults team. The role provides specialist advice to frontline workers and delivers Screening and Triage to standardise initial safeguarding assessments across the county, working with a wide multi-agency network to secure the best outcomes for adults.

The post is based in Gloucester with an agile, hybrid working model (home and office).

Qualifications

• Requires a social work degree and SWE registration (essential).
• Experience with safeguarding cases in a multi-agency context.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and support to frontline workers across partnership organisations.
• Lead Screening and Triage to ensure consistent initial safeguarding assessments and decisions.
• Work closely with multi-agency networks to achieve the best outcomes for adults.
• Support Safeguarding Adults Board activities and contribute to safeguarding practice improvements.
