Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking an Advanced Social Worker to join the Adults Services team. You will lead case management, ensure safeguarding, assess complex needs, and develop care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You will oversee assessments, contribute to care planning, and support junior social workers while maintaining compliant records and engaging with external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• A relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Substantial experience in adult social care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal abilities, critical thinking and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities
