We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Worker to serve as Safeguarding Adults Lead within Lambeth Adult Social Care.
This role involves leading all safeguarding activities, acting as the main contact for safeguarding issues, and working collaboratively with partners such as the Police, Hospitals, and Mental Health services. You will need to be organized, approachable, capable of de-escalating highly emotive situations, and committed to safeguarding adults.
As an experienced manager, you should have a strong understanding of safeguarding practices, legislation, and risk assessment. Expertise in safeguarding adults and the Mental Capacity Act is essential, along with the ability to provide guidance, develop training, and present to various audiences including the Safeguarding Adults Board.
This position offers an opportunity to develop strategic safeguarding skills and foster strong partnerships to address complex issues across the whole system.
