Role Details

Altrad, in partnership with SABIC, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented TMS Planner to join our Total Maintenance Services (TMS) team. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and productive delivery of maintenance and project services across SABIC’s continuous manufacturing operations.

This role will be responsible for preparing and compiling comprehensive work packs for routine maintenance activities, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safe systems of work.

Responsibilities
  • Gatekeeping client-originated work requests prior to planning.
  • Scoping work activities and engaging with engineering teams as needed.
  • Constructing detailed work packs aligned with client requirements and safety standards.
  • Planning and estimating tasks using SAP and approved norms.
  • Conducting site visits and liaising with stakeholders including engineering, operations, and contractors.
  • Managing workflow using SAP tools (Task Lists, Hold Codes, BOMs, etc.).
  • Raising requisitions for materials and consumables.
  • Campaign planning and early warning reporting for delays.
Essential Qualifications
  • ECITB NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Valid Safety Passport (CCNSG/EMMS or equivalent).
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning tools (SAP, Maximo, IPLan).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in Process, Oil & Gas, Power Generation or similar industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Supervisory or self-directed work experience.
  • Familiarity with performance contracts and energy plant maintenance.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.
