Job summary

Eden Scott partners with a leading Glasgow-based SaaS organisation to recruit a Software Automation Tester. This role focuses on building automated testing capabilities for a modern cloud-native platform used across multiple industries.

You will influence testing strategy, embed quality throughout the development lifecycle, and work closely with engineers, product managers and stakeholders in a collaborative, ambitious team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience testing SaaS or cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on automation testing with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Solid API testing and automation skills.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and API layers.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid delivery.
• Collaborate with developers to catch defects early.
• Investigate and help resolve quality issues.
• Promote testing best practices and quality culture.
• Evaluate and adopt new testing tools as the platform scales.
• Contribute to test strategy and planning.
