Job summary

Evi Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the S3 Compute team within Amazon Web Services. You will guide a group of skilled software engineers, shaping the long-term roadmap while maintaining high availability and performance for a globally scaled storage service.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and program management, and drive architectural decisions to ensure reliable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Experience in engineering team management.
Experience in engineering.
Experience working directly within engineering teams.
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day activities of a development team in the S3 Compute space, developing the long term team roadmap, ensuring that the team is operationally fit, developing and challenging the builders that report to you, working with stakeholders and customers to ensure that we are building the right thing.
