We have a vacancy for a Business Analyst – Ariba enabled Supply Chain Procurement, working within a team of permanent and contract Business Analysts and Functional Consultants. The role involves managing a portfolio of projects and changes, ensuring business requirements are delivered with benefits, cost reductions, and service improvements.

This position will focus on managing Supply Chain procurement system initiatives within the Middle Office. Experience with Ariba, SAP S/4HANA integration, and knowledge of Source to Contract, Procure to Pay processes are expected.

The role supports ongoing Business transformation on SAP S/4HANA implementation, working closely with various business lines to understand current processes, research solutions, and design innovative solutions using Ariba and SAP S/4HANA. It also involves acting as a key interface between internal teams and our IT providers, coordinating with functional teams and third-party IT providers, reviewing functional specifications, supporting testing, and training key-users.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Business Partners on strategic reviews and system/business functional changes as per the roadmap.

Business Analysis

1. Gather, understand, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and detailed test plans, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, Service Management, Project Lifecycle, and Sarbanes Oxley controls.
2. Assist in producing business cases for development and implementation of changes, documenting work using required standards, and suggesting improvements.
3. Participate in troubleshooting escalated incidents, analyzing systems, and recommending options, with support from third-party service providers. Deep understanding of Business Partner and Material Master Data is required.

Process Design

1. Provide expertise in Business Process design and documentation, recommending and leading process and system improvements.

Test & Training

1. Test, implement, and train users on systems, facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).

Business Knowledge & Expertise

1. Develop a broad understanding of Nomad processes, applications, and data flows, with deeper knowledge in assigned functions.
2. Evaluate industry and competitor solutions, incorporating insights into solution design.
3. Collaborate globally with Procurement SMEs and the Global Process owner to implement global/regional solutions within Ariba.
4. Work with other analysts and IT teams to ensure consistency, quality, and continuous improvement of system and process implementations.
5. Act as the link between customers, development teams, and third-party providers regarding software functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
