About The Role

Job Title: S106 Delivery Manager

Contract: Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 37

Salary: HC11 £49,764 to £54,180 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior project manager to join Herefordshire’s Commercial Delivery Team. Forming part of the Economy and Environment department, the Infrastructure Delivery Team is a multi-skilled engineering, design, and project management team focused on delivering property infrastructure works.

As the S106 Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for working with local parish and town councils, as well as community partners, to develop and plan S106 improvement works such as play areas, sports facilities, and school improvement works. You will also project manage these works from commissioning and overseeing detailed design to procuring contractors and supervising delivery on site. This role involves managing stakeholder involvement and expectations, as well as coordinating with design consultants and contractors.

You will have overall responsibility for programme management of all S106 capital projects, including forecasting, creating monthly reports, and managing spend across the council in collaboration with the S106 Highways Engineer and other colleagues.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with significant experience in infrastructure development and delivery, with demonstrable achievements in public sector projects, design, procurement, and project management. Experience with JCT and NEC contracts is desirable.
