Boehringer Ingelheim in Winnersh, UK, offers a 12-month paid internship starting September 2027 focused on Real World Evidence (RWE). The role is based at head office with a minimum of two days a week in the office.

You will support protocol development, conduct research into RWE topics, and help ensure high-quality data-driven insights for internal decision-makers, while gaining exposure to governance, data sources, and platforms used across the RWE group.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with a placement year.
• A minimum of three A levels at grades ABB, or equivalent; at least one STEM or social-science subject desirable.
• The right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• Comfortable with Microsoft 365; intermediate Excel skills; Excellent PowerPoint skills.

Responsabilités

• Support protocol and study design development under guidance of study leads.
• Deep research into Innovative RWE topics.
• Conduct structured research into RWE topics including AI applications, regulatory and HTA acceptance, wearable technologies, and global evidence trends.
• Summarise findings and present insights to internal stakeholders for strategic planning.
• Assist in managing timelines and governance across active RWE projects.
