Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Andale Veterinary Centre on a full-time basis. The RVN will deliver high-quality nursing care, support surgical procedures, and contribute to clinical standards within a supportive team.

You’ll work 38.5 hours per week, with a 4-day week and shifts mostly between 8:00am and 7:00pm. No Sundays or out‑of‑hours requirements; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Run nurse consultations and support preventative healthcare
• Provide inpatient care and patient monitoring
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
• Assist with laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
