Job summary

Hamilton Specialist Referrals is seeking an experienced RVN to lead the Wards & HDU team as Wards & HDU Clinical Team Leader. This senior role combines hands-on clinical care with leadership across inpatient services in a 24/7 referral hospital.

The ideal candidate will have strong ECC or advanced nursing experience, RCVS registration, and a passion for patient-focused care within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS is essential.
• ECC or VTS qualification is desirable for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality inpatient care across HDU and wards.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Coordinate patient flow and liaise with clinicians and coordinators.
• Support ward rounds and ensure treatment plans are followed.
