Job summary

inspiring vet care’s Rosehill Vets in Plymouth is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for a full-time role. You’ll join a supportive clinical team delivering high-quality nursing care and excellent client experiences.

You’ll work with veterinary surgeons across first opinion cases, take responsibility for inpatient care, nurse consultations, and admissions/discharges. The 4-week rotating schedule includes 3 early shifts and 1 late/Eve, with 1:4 Saturday mornings; no out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Assisting Veterinary Surgeons in theatre and consultations
• Responsibility for inpatient care
• Assisting with patient admits and discharges
