Job summary

Scarsdale Vets is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis. The role combines clinical nursing with inpatient workflow coordination, across theatre, anaesthesia, wards and consultations.

You'll oversee hospital inpatients, support patient flow and ensure clear communication between clients, Veterinary Surgeons, the hospital team and referral colleagues.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to coordinate workflow effectively in a busy hospital environment.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily inpatient workflow and support the smooth organisation of hospital cases.
• Liaise with clients, providing clear patient updates and supporting discharge appointments.
• Organise VAN transfers and work collaboratively with first opinion, hospital and referral colleagues.
• Deliver high standards of nursing care across theatre, anaesthesia, wards and consultations.
