Airstream Orange County is seeking dynamic RV service technicians interested in working with some of the most iconic trailers in America. Skills in plumbing, carpentry, and aluminum fabrication are advantageous, and RVIA certification is recommended but not required.
A successful RV Technician should have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated, and proficient in maintenance and repairs. Camping World offers certification support for individuals not already certified. Key skills include Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, and RV Service.
The salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 to $78,000, with variable compensation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and more.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic testing and repair services to customers.
- Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
- Keep supervisors informed of work progress.
- Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Essential Job Skills:
- Trade certification from college or technical school (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance) is helpful but applicable work experience is considered.
- Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields; RVIA certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
- Exposure to heights and electrical/welding hazards.
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.
Qualifications:
- Passion for fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and well-versed in repairs.
- Valid driver's license.
