Airstream Orange County is looking for dynamic RV service technicians to work in a growing industry on iconic trailers. Skills in plumbing, carpentry, and aluminum fabrication are benefits, and RVIA certification is recommended but not required.
A successful RV Technician should have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and be well-versed in maintenance and repairs. Camping World offers certification for individuals not already certified. The role involves plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
The compensation range is $50,000 to $78,000, with variable additional compensation. Full-time employees receive a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and more.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers
- Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
- Track parts and materials used in repairs
- Keep supervisor informed of work progress
- Ensure work meets quality standards and is inspected
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
Essential Job Skills:
- Trade certification from college or technical school (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance) is helpful but applicable work experience is considered
- Minimum 1-year service technician experience or related fields; RVIA certification is helpful but not required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
- Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Exposure to heights and hazards related to electrical and welding work
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness
Qualifications:
- Passion for fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, and well-versed in maintenance and repairs
- Trade certification is helpful but applicable work experience is valued
- Valid driver's license
