Rust Quant Developer for Low-Latency HFT & DeFi

Job summary

Venture Search has partnered with a leading global crypto trading firm that is building an advanced high-frequency trading platform in Rust. You will join a newly formed quantitative trading team and contribute to design, development, and scaling of the next generation system.

You will work on algorithm development, system optimization, DeFi protocol integration, backtesting, and risk controls, while maintaining low latency and real-time monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong programming capabilities with a focus on low-level development and performance optimization.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing HFT or trading systems.
• Deep understanding of trading infrastructure, including order books and order state machines.
• Proficiency in Rust, or significant experience in C/C++ with exposure to Rust.
• Knowledge of crypto markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop trading algorithms for low-latency strategies.
• Build front-office trading systems for data processing and risk management.
• Integrate with DeFi protocols and real-time data feeds.
• Backtest trading models with historical data.
• Implement robust risk controls and stop-loss mechanisms.
• Maintain system monitoring and resolve operational issues.
