Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for testing localized software assets throughout the QA test phase to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Test software once localized assets have been implemented in-game.
2. Report all language bugs found during testing in a clear, concise manner using the bug tracking database.
3. Perform confirmation testing in one or more languages as required.
4. Proofread and correct translations provided by external companies.
5. Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of localized assets, tools, game, and manual.
6. Make necessary fixes directly to language text assets when needed.
7. Assist other Test Services and Engineering Services teams with general testing duties.
8. Support project and process-related tasks.
9. Occasionally provide in-house translations.
10. Assist with translation work for packaging text for consoles, peripherals, and PlayStation component names.
