Job summary

KPI RECRUITING LTD is helping an ambitious secondary school in the Kenley area recruit a capable Graduate Learning Mentor. The role supports students’ academic progress, engagement and confidence within the secondary phase, alongside teachers and pastoral staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Russell Group degree with a 1st or 2:1, and bring strong communication skills, a genuine passion for supporting young people, and a proactive, professional attitude for a long-term, term-time position.

Qualifications

• Graduates with strong academic credentials and excellent communication are invited to apply.
• Applicants should be motivated to support pupils and foster positive relationships.
• Candidates with a genuine interest in teaching, educational psychology, mentoring or youth support are favored.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group intervention sessions.
• Support students in lessons across multiple subjects.
• Assist pupils in achieving academic targets and maintaining engagement.
• Encourage positive attitudes toward learning and achievement.
• Support behaviour, attendance and student engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with teaching and pastoral teams.
• Help students with organisation and study skills.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Act as a positive role model within the school community.
