A unique firm of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, and Estate Agents is seeking a Rural Surveyor to manage estate and property responsibilities. Rural Surveyor
Location: Shipston on Stour
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a unique firm of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers and Estate Agents in their search for a Rural Surveyor. With regional offices from the Midland Counties and Cotswolds, they have extensive local knowledge and business experience. The company has strong relationships with local professional firms and plays a pivotal role in the communities that it serves with over 200 staff and consultants working out of 14 offices.
Candidates are required to have:
RICS qualified Rural Chartered Surveyor
* Registered Valuer and FAAV, preferred, but not essential (support can be given for these qualifications).
* Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice
* Have a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care
* Be IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
* Pro-active and business minded
* Be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
* Strong organisation skills - able to prioritise own time and workload
* Ability to work well on their own and as part of a Team
What does the role involve?
* Estate and Property Management
* Diversification and Planning
* Valuations, Taxation and Succession planning
* Landlord and Tenant, preparation of Farm Business Tenancies, Grazing Licences and Contract Farming Agreements
* Advising clients on Agri-environmental Schemes and Grants
* Land and Property Sales, and Acquisitions
* Utility and Infrastructure Compensation Claims
* Renewable energy and Woodland Management
