Chartered Surveyor - Rural Practice

Location: Carlisle, Cumbria | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Benefits

A leading rural property firm with a strong presence across the North of England is looking to welcome a Chartered Surveyor to their growing team in Carlisle.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their surveying career - whether you've just completed your APC or you're a few years post-qualification - and are looking to broaden your experience across a wide variety of rural and land-based work.

The Role

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team, gaining hands-on exposure across:

  • Valuations (ideally as a RICS Registered Valuer or working towards)
  • Estate and farm business management
  • Land and property sales and acquisitions
  • Compensation and wayleave negotiations
  • Rural planning, diversification and development schemes
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Residential lettings and rural asset management

This position offers real breadth, ideal for a surveyor who enjoys variety and wants to develop both technical and client-facing skills.

  • RICS- or CAAV-qualified Surveyors (or those nearing completion)
