Rural Surveyor

Location: Kettering
Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Job Role / Duties
  1. Provision of business solutions to farmers and landowners
  2. Farm business management and diversification advice
  3. Assisting with the management of our in-hand farm portfolio
  4. Providing clients with practical advice on grants and subsidies, including the profitable implementation of environmental schemes
  5. Preparation of profit and cashflow budgets for business planning
  6. Offering practical and entrepreneurial advice on renewable technologies
  7. Managing and developing client relationships (new and existing)
  8. Supporting the delivery of the business plan
  9. Assisting in the delivery of financial targets and managing personal performance
Candidate Requirements
  • Two to four years of post-graduate experience
  • Practical understanding of business, agriculture, land, and property
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, knowing when to seek senior advice
  • Active in building a professional network
  • Ownership of budget management and workload prioritization
  • Self-motivated with initiative
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Access to a vehicle with business insurance
