Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is assisting a leading Scottish firm to recruit a Rural Property Solicitor (NQ to 4 PQE) based in Inverness, with the option to work from anywhere in the Highlands. You will join a respected L500 rural team handling land, crofting, farms, and estates, and develop specialist expertise alongside market-leading practitioners.

Previous rural property experience is not essential; the firm values a solid property foundation and a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• NQ to 4 PQE with a passion for property or rural law.
• Interest in developing a career in rural property, no prior rural experience required.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Work on rural property transactions, crofting, farms and estates.
• Collaborate with accredited rural law specialists and colleagues across the firm.
• Develop specialist expertise in Rural Law while learning from recognised practitioners.
