Job summary

The National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking a Cook to join our kitchens in Warminster. You will prepare and present delicious food from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients for visitors.

This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) follows our National Trust Cookbook framework, with deliveries, kitchen cleanliness and strict health and safety standards. Induction and training are provided, with opportunities for further development.

Responsibilities

• As a Cook, you will focus in the kitchen, preparing and presenting delicious food from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Food served directly to visitors.
• You will follow the National Trust Cookbook framework, measure and mix ingredients, help with deliveries and keep the kitchen clean to comply with health and safety legislation.
• An induction will be provided, with training in allergens and food safety, plus mentoring and opportunities for further professional development.
