The role combines inpatient and outpatient GI care with endoscopy, ERCP and HPB services, in a modern, collaborative environment.

The post requires Full GMC Registration and CCST/CESR Specialist Registration, with a commitment to high quality, safe patient care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in gastroenterology with endoscopy and GI procedures.
• Ability to provide therapeutic endoscopy for GI bleeding.
• Excellent communication with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide an integrated digestive diseases service across north Cumbria.
• Work with GI team to offer outpatient clinics and endoscopy services.
• Engage in sub-specialty interests to support department needs.
