Job summary

Hodnet Medical Centre in Hodnet, North Shropshire, is seeking a friendly and committed 4-session salaried GP to join a stable practice. You will work with experienced GPs, ANPs, practice nurses, pharmacists and a dedicated admin team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

The role involves face-to-face and remote patient care, home visits, reviewing results, and autonomous clinical decision-making within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current GMC registration and GP training scheme completed.
• Experience with EMIS Web, AccuRx and Docman preferred.
• Strong team player and commitment to rural community care.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations with patients.
• Respond to patient queries and undertake home visits and nursing home visits.
• Review investigation results and clinical correspondence; manage referrals.
• Prescribe safely within the formulary and maintain up-to-date notes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support staff.
