Job summary

Bedfordia Group Ltd seeks a proactive Rural Estate Project Lead to manage land, buildings and environmental assets. You will coordinate a wide range of rural estate projects, liaising with tenants, contractors and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will maintain accurate records, support biodiversity and sustainable farming initiatives, and drive compliance with health and safety and environmental requirements across the estate.

Qualifications

• Experience in farming, environmental land management or rural estate administration.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication to liaise with tenants, contractors and partners.
• Ability to lead and support projects, track actions, deadlines and budgets.
• Working knowledge of UK countryside and environmental issues.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of allocated rural estate projects as main coordination point.
• Maintain estate records, plans, registers, dashboards and property information.
• Assist with site inspections, tenant liaison and contractor coordination.
• Produce reporting and updates for internal teams and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor maintenance, contractor progress, H&S, CDM and compliance.
• Support biodiversity and environmental initiatives and grant funding processes.
