The Role
We are offering a 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for a Civils Operative in Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire, or Wiltshire. We also consider self-employed applicants with the relevant documentation. As a Rural Civil Operative, you will build our Fibre Network, operating plant machinery like vibratory mole ploughs and directional drilling equipment, supporting excavation, fibre laying, and construction activities with safety and quality standards.
Reporting to team leaders or supervisors, your initial main role involves operating a 2.7-ton Kubota digger to support mole plough and drilling operations.

Compensation: £29,000 - £33,900 per annum, based on experience (45-hour week).
Hours: 45 hours/week, with potential for additional hours.
Contract: Temporary, 6 months.
