Job description

  • Oversight of the management of tenants including sourcing suitable tenants and ensuring referencing and right to rent checks are completed.
  • Ensuring a smooth handover of property to new tenants. Ensuring a smooth end of tenancy process.
  • Property inspections in Oxfordshire & Gloucestershire
  • Dealing with FBTs, Leases, AST’s, Cropping Licenses & Grazing licenses and other 3rd party arrangements (Landlord and Tenant matters).
  • Planning applications for development and estate matters
  • Assisting in development and delivery the leisure offerings across the estate
  • Overseeing smaller development projects, reporting into the Renovation and Development Manger
  • Estate Management - General Estate management matters under the direction of the Head of Property
  • Assisting with the implementation of Woodland Management Plans.
  • Scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the daily activities of internal and external site operatives, including collation of the necessary paperwork.
  • Organising and planning the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team
  • Statutory compliance & Audit - including but not limited to EICR testing, boiler and aga testing (gas and oil), smoke / co2 alarms, tree surveys etc. Ensuring Landlords statutory obligations are met across the Estate.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records on Key Property Management in relation to all Lettings. Implementing, monitoring and reviewing compliance of DFL or 3rd parties in relation to the CDM Regulations.
  • Ensuring Health and Safety compliance and best practice is implemented in all areas of the business
  • Customer focus/point of contact for leisure guests.
  • Input into annual budgeting and monthly reporting
  • Ownership of management accounts

Person Specification

  • Qualification requirements – MRICS / FAAV
  • 2 - 3 years in a similar position
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety
  • Computer literate in all MS office programs particularly MS Excel
  • Ability to deal with wide-ranging challenges and responsibilities with diplomacy and patience
  • Ability to quickly build strong working relationships at all levels of the business
  • Professional manner and confident communicator
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously when required, alongside effective teamwork and interpersonal skills

Travel to our Gloucestershire site will also be required.
