Job summary

BCL Legal is seeking a Solicitor to join its Agriculture, Estates and Rural Property team in Newcastle. The role suits an NQ-5 PQE candidate with interest in rural and landed estates and a knack for client relationship building.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with NQ-5 PQE in agriculture, estates or commercial property.

Responsibilities

• Buy, sell or let rural property including farms and landed estates.
• Handle easements, rights of way and mineral ownership issues.
• Manage agricultural tenancies, including successions and renewals.
• Work on renewable energy schemes, energy storage and related leases.
• Support estate management, first registrations and rural lending transactions.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
