Job description

Pub Overview

Charming village pub located in Derby’s suburbs, featuring spacious indoor seating and an impressive, expansive beer garden.

Exciting chance to join a vibrant village community and offer highly sought-after food.

The area

The White Swan is located in the village of Ockbrook, close to the A38 and Derby City Centre and Pride Park Stadium. The pub is surrounded by residential housing.

The pub benefits from being one of 4 pubs found in an area of around 1500 adults. The diverse customer base spans a wide range of ages.

The offer

Available on our foundation tenancy agreement. The potential of this pub lies in developing a well thought through food & drink offer. What food & drinks would you look to implement in the pub?

The site currently has the ability to drive trade via food & drink and a live, light entertainment calendar. It offers a selection of cask ales, coffees, and popular beers, ciders, wines and spirits.

We’re always open to new ideas, what would you do to drive trade?

Attitude is more valuable than experience but some background in a food site would be advantageous. If you’ve got the following, we’d love to hear from you.
  • Understanding of the local community
  • You know what it takes to build a successful business
  • You love hospitality and are great with customers

If this sounds like the incredible pub opportunity you’ve been waiting for, apply today and tell us what you can bring to this pub’s next chapter...
