Job summary

MRJ Recruitment is helping a fast-growing SaaS technology business in Manchester find a Ruby Engineer to join the collaborative engineering team. You’ll help build, improve and maintain the core SaaS platform using Ruby on Rails, Docker and AWS.

You’ll write clean, tested code, work with QA and Product teams in an Agile setup, and contribute to code reviews, deployments and system performance. This role offers growth opportunities in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with Ruby
• Some experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
• Familiarity with RSpec, Git and APIs
• Exposure to AWS, Docker and CI/CD
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and secure coding practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

They’re looking for a Ruby Engineer to join their collaborative engineering team and help build, improve and maintain their core SaaS platform.
