About the Role

Brio Digital are supporting a consultancy who are on the lookout for a RoR Developer for a piece of work in the public sector where you'll play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling our applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure seamless performance.
• Optimising database queries and application performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• A problem-solving mindset and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and Agile methodologies is a plus.
