Senior Ruby Developer – Melbourne (Hybrid)

Location: Melbourne CBD (Hybrid - Super flexible working arrangements, ideally 1-2 days in office)

The Role

As a Senior Ruby Developer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the company’s platform, which supports multiple user types, including coaches, clients, and administrators.

You will work to deliver features, ensure scalability, and contribute to the company’s technical vision. Initially working independently, you will also have opportunities to help grow and lead a tech team as the company scales.

Ideal Candidate

Must-Haves:

• Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails and Postgres SQL.
• Ability to work autonomously as a sole developer while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Adaptability to thrive in a startup/scale-up environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Leadership potential with aspirations to build and manage a tech team.
• Experience with native app or mobile development.
