The Role :

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in building secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.

The tech stack primarily includes Rails, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team values pragmatism in choosing the best tools for the task and expects candidates to take a lead role in developing core technology across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience operating large systems with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using test-driven development
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with image manipulation tools like OpenCV would be advantageous

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While there are occasional meetings and social events, your daily work will be from home.
