Ruby Engineer - Remote in the UK - up to £75k

We're working on this role on an exclusive basis, which means you won't hear about it through another recruiter. It's a great opportunity, so apply today to learn more.

You'll join a B-corp certified business that believes in providing a sustainable alternative for its customers. They stand out as a smaller, customer-centric business in their industry.

Ruby is the primary technology for the business, and they also use Go and some PHP. You won't need to code in these languages, as there are plenty of Ruby projects, but some engineers volunteer to do Go coding when needed.

This role is UK-based and fully remote.

The salary range is £55,000 - £70,000, with potential flexibility up to £75,000 for exceptional candidates.

This is a back-end focused position.

Requirements:

  • Ruby on Rails experience
  • Deployment tools like Docker, Capistrano, or Ansible
  • Experience with MySQL or other data backends
  • Knowledge of Git and GitHub
  • Ability to adapt and embrace change in an evolving industry

  • 32 holiday days, including your birthday off, with options to buy more via salary sacrifice
  • Medical insurance
  • Access to online learning courses for professional development
  • Free use of the company's product
  • Lifetime carbon footprint offset initiatives
